The CFMEU ACT has released the findings from an independent investigation into the cause of the bridge collapse on the Barton Highway, Canberra.

The independent report found failures in the design specifications and formwork structure resulted in the collapse of the bridge, which as a result injured nine workers at the time. 

The CFMEU are now calling on the ACT Government to take appropriate actions to ensure another horrific incidence like this never occurs again and those responsible for the bridge collapse are held accountable.
