South Australian construction workers celebrated the 30th anniversary of their Picnic Day at Bonython Park, Adelaide on Monday Dec 5. It was a great family day, as always, with free rides, face painting, ice-creams, soft drinks, lunch BBQ and raffle prizes for the $25 family ticket.

Record numbers of construction workers and their families converged on Caulfield Racecourse on Monday December 5, for Melbourne's annual building unions’ picnic. The new venue created more space for rides, but there was also a return to traditional activities such as sprint and three-legged races, which provided a lot of fun and laughs. Financial NSW members had a choice of 6 venues to celebrate Picnic Day on Dec 7 - from Taronga Zoo and Luna Park in Sydney, to Scenic World in the Blue Mountains, the Reptile Park on Central Coast, Jamberoo or the Western Plains Zoo at Dubbo. More.

CFMEU and CEPU members in South Australia celebrated Picnic Day together with a range of activities at Bonython Park in Adelaide from 10.00am till 3pm.
